Childhood Matters, which
has been in development, will launch on
November 3. This live call-in show for parents
will air every Sunday from 9-10am on 98.1
KISS-FM in San Francisco. With excellent
support from the radio station, we're
confident that Childhood Matters will be a
valuable forum for parents and everyone else
who cares for children. So tune in, and call
in at 1-877-372-KIDS. And visit our new
website at
www.childhoodmatters.org
We've also
concluded an agreement with the California
Arts Council to develop a radio presence about
the arts and artists of California.
Our in-house
voiceover pro, Peter B. Collins has been busy.
He's now being heard on a radio spot for the
Playboy Channel. And he just narrated an
employee orientation video for Foster Farms
Dairies.
We're busy with the re-design of Faith Matters,
which will re-launch in March. Research is
under way to finalize the new format under
a new name, and we are developing a
campaign to market the program to public
radio stations.
Jim Foster's Conversations on the Coast is
now in its 5th year, and his impressive
archive of author interviews is available
for licensing to book-related websites.
One particularly touching
segment with Rick Bragg is featured on the
new page.
We've set up a test program for direct
response clients, using a revenue sharing
deal to reduce the risks. If you have a
product or offer that would work in radio,
call us today.
We are about midway through the
development process for a new interactive
radio show about parenting and the
very first years of a
child's life. We are
working with a team to develop
funding from foundations and public
agencies, and expect to debut the
show this summer.
We've got room for more assignments! Like
many small firms, business has slowed
as budgets have been cut. We see great
opportunities for cost-effective communication,
as media costs have dropped to 1999 levels
and even lower in some cases.
